Qianmen street - Beijing, China

One of the famous bronze statues on Qianmen Pedestrian Street in Beijing, it stands in the historic Xianyukou Food Street (a branch of Qianmen Street), which is known for its traditional Beijing restaurants and quaint shops. The two figures depict traditional Chinese tea culture and the process of processing tea leaves. The work is located near the famous Wu Yutai Teahouse, which is over a century old. The figures, dressed in Qing Dynasty clothing, are intended to evoke the daily life and traditional crafts of "Old Beijing" (Lao Beijing) for visitors.
