Beijing Archery Tower - Beijing, China

The building is a massive archery tower (known as Qianmen) at the Zhengyangmen Gate in Beijing, located south of the famous Tiananmen Square in China. It was built during the Ming Dynasty. It was one of the most important and largest gate fortresses of the old Beijing city wall. The distinctive multi-story structure stands on a massive stone foundation, with a green tiled roof in the Chinese style.
