Orange polyurethane insulation foam on the exposed firewall - Barcelona, Spain

An orange layer of sprayed polyurethane foam applied to the side of a building, used to waterproof and thermally insulate the exposed and weathered firewall after the demolition of a neighboring building. It prevents rainwater and moisture from entering the remaining residential building through the wall. It seals gaps and improves the energy efficiency of the building. It protects the unplastered, vulnerable wall surface from rotting and further damage.
