Monument to Frederic Soler

The creator of popular, satirical theater and parody, and a supporter of the 1868 revolution. A few months after his death, the decision was made to erect a monument to him. On March 13, 1896, the architect and sculptor Falqués Pedro Agustín Querol was chosen as the author of the statue. The work began on November 16, 1897, and the statue was inaugurated on December 26, 1906.
